Aubergine Patio Mix Seeds - Irish Plants Direct
This patio variety is an upright compact plant producing a mix of different coloured, sized and shaped fruits.
These easy to grow aubergines are a reliable cropper and can be grown in a greenhouse, tunnel or outside in a sheltered spot.
The pack includes Aubergine Brilliant, Pinstripe and Ivory.

☀️Sow February - April
☀️Germination 8 - 11 days
☀️Loam or sandy soil that is acidic or neutral.
☀️Harvest August - October
☀️Companion Plants beans, peas, peppers, marigolds & nasturtiums.
☀️Do not plant with potatoes or kohl rabi.
☀️Pick the fruits when the fruits are solid and heavy.
☀️A good source of Vitamin A, C, b1, b6, and potassium
☀️Use in pasta dishes, salads and curries
Aubergines can be grown in pots, grow bags or in the border of a greenhouse and tunnel. Prepare the soil by digging in compost or well rotted manure add a granular fertiliser 2 weeks before planting.
Make sure plants are grown in full sun.
Sow between February - April by planting 2 seeds in a 3mm pot either on a warm window sill or in a heated propagator the temperature for germination needs to be between 21 - 27 degrees. When the seedlings emerge remove the weaker one then when they get their first true leaves transplant into a larger pot to grow on.
If the plants are to be transplanted outside ensure they have been hardened off and all chance of frost has passed and ensure they are planted in a south facing sheltered spot.
It's important to water regularly and feed with liquid feed fortnightly when the flowers appear.

What is our Returns Policy/ I Have received the wrong items?
If the error is on our side for example you have been sent the wrong stock or the item arrives damaged, contact us and we will arrange for a collection with dpd etc. If it is a no faut return we will refund you the value of your order minus the delivery and return fee.

Please bring proof of purchase either via a physical printed copy or alternatively a digital copy on your phone in order for our staff to double check your order details and finalise your collection.
We also offer a contactless Click and Collect. This will be done through having two designated click and collect parking slots in the back of the store. When you arrive you simply call the number on the signage and the goods will be brought out to your car.
In replace of this you will be also able to come in store in order to collect you click and collect.
