Additional Info: DetectameshTM detectable tape is a plastic mesh with a traceable stainless steel wire laminated between the mesh and a polyethylene tape which is printed with a warning message to warn future excavaotrs of the location and potential danger of the utility services / pipes and cables below (Water Main,Gas Pipe, Electric Cable etc). The stainless steel wire acts as the detectable element that can be located by a CAT & GENNY (cable avoidance tool / cable and pipe locator ) by direct connection or induction where applicable. Plastic mesh is manufactured to BS EN 12613:2007
